Tell us more about yourself:
     I’m graduating this May and I’m taking up Journalism in Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Sta. Mesa, Manila. I just turned 20 this March 21. My friends see me as a good listener. Some think I’m a good adviser. I’m a bit of a tomboy since I grew up in a family dominated by three brothers and six uncles. I’m an intuitor. My friends hate me for that. LOL. I don’t get easily surprise of the outcomes of a situation because I could think ahead of it. I just don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing. I’m an only girl in the family by the way( but don’t think I’m a princess. I’m not! I assure you). I’m a girl who has many aspirations in life and I hope to achieve my greatest dream five years from now by working so damn hard after graduation.

What do you usually do on your free time? Any hobbies?
     I stay home and read historical romances. Sometimes I watch romantic comedies. I’m an anime fanatic since highschool so I also watch shoujo (anime for girls) and read manga (anime comics). When I’m with my barkada I play DOTA (Defense of the Ancient) with them. I also play in timezone and my fave is the dance dance revolution.

What are the places that you would want to visit in the future?
     This is in order, okay?

     - Historical romances

Five things you tend to splurge on
     - BOOKS!!! Definitely books! I love reading so I don’t think it as splurging.LOL!
     - DOTA (My friends are all into it. Promise it’s addictive!)
     - Renting VCD’s and DVD’s (Sometimes I rent 6 in a day and I don’t even watch them before I return it. What a complete waste!)
     - Food. I’m guilty of eating too much! Can you blame me? There’s so many food out there!
     - Dance Dance Revolution. I play it every week in timezone and everytime I load P200.00 in my card. Please keep it a secret! My mom would kill me!LOL)

What book/s are you reading right now?
     I just re-read Pride and Prejudice while I was on vacation in Bicol for the holy week. Last January I finished reading the Twilight Saga and finished collecting the four books.

What is your favorite color? Used to be orange but right now I’m into purple.
What’s your favorite midnight snack? Many and it varies. We own a sari-sari store. Whatever is on the shelf (lol).
What are some of your favorite vacation spots? Our province in Paracale, Camarines Norte. I like the red sands there and the old stories. And also the thought of being untouched and unchanged of the place. It’s paradise.
Favorite ice cream flavors: Strawberry!
Favorite pizza toppings: Mozzarella and lot’s of melted cheese!

What’s your status right now? Are you single, married, or it’s complicated?
     It’s complicated, I think. May hang up pa ko sa guy na kina-in love-an ko…:P

     Love is like running water. Even when you think there isn’t more to give, there is still so much more.
Love makes the world….?
     Love makes the world complicated because I think love is unfair (Bitterness? Nope! I just saw it that way!:P)
What’s your first love like?
     It was all kilig! I remember when he first held my hand I felt a flutter in my stomach and when he smiled at me, everything turned pink!
What’s the one thing you won’t do for love?
     Throw away my respect for myself and the people around me because when everything is lost I think respect is the only thing that would keep me in sane condition.
Do you believe that everyone has a soulmate?
     Yes! I hope to find mine in the future. But it doesn’t have to be your boyfriend or husband. It could be a friend for life.
Roses and Chocolates….Romantic or Corny?
     If done in the right place, I think it’s romantic.
Long-distance relationships….Go for it or Run away from it?
     Run away from it. LOL! Really! I hate waiting. I’m not very patient in waiting.
Muscular men in tight fitting shirt and jeans….Sexy or Nasty?
     VERY sexy! I know how to appreciate.
Isang Linggong Pag-ibig….True love or Kabaliwan?
     Kabaliwan! There is no such thing! True love is worked on thru time. But I think it’s something to be experience so one could tell the difference. LOL!

What made you decide to write romance?
     It’s a high school dream. I used to read romance pocketbook in high school and I felt the kilig effect it gives to the readers. I hope to give that same effect when I write.
Where do you usually get your inspiration….in writing sex/sexy scenes? Do you use your OWN experiences?
     That’s a DEFINITE NO! I don’t have those experiences. I think I got it from vast reading.
What’s your writing process like? Where do you get ideas? How many hours a day (or days? Months? Years?) Do you work on a single manuscript?
     The ideas hit me when I’m in church. You don’t believe me? Really! It’s something that hits me whenever I attend church every Sunday but don’t get me wrong. I listen to the homily and the sermon. I also don’t know why. I think it’s god-sent. I work on a single manuscript for 4 or 5 days.
Who is your favorite author? Would you say that your writing style is similar to him/her?
     I don’t have a favorite author because I like every story I read.
How do you deal with writer’s block?
     I don’t happen to encounter this yet but whenever I feel like not writing, I go to malls and stroll around. I want to see people. A lot of them actually. It gives me a sense of contentment observing them.
What piece of advice would you give to aspiring romance writers out there? (There are millions, I tell you!)
     Just write whatever your hearts desire. Hindi naman mahirap magsulat ‘pag galing sa puso ng tao. And be ready for failures. Hindi naman kasi iyon maiiwasan. Keep on writing despite it all, kasi in failing you would learn. (Based on experience yan!)
In all honesty, what are the joys of writing romance novels?
     It gives you the satisfaction of knowing that somewhere out there you inspire people. You make them believe that there is such a thing as happy ending. You give hope to those hopeless romantics. You can impart pieces of yourself rather your opinions to people. You also can express the things you suppress. And you can share the joy of hope for women out there who are waiting for their own Mr. Right!

     MGA sa akin eh… My barkada. When I’m around everyone of them I can’t help but smile, joke around and laugh. I would surely miss them after graduation.(Graduation blues)

     P********. Alam mo na. But it’s just an expression. Nasanay lang ako.

     Kalog at masayahain. Madali ko kasing sakyan ang mga joke nila.
